Several months after ITV replaced its streaming app, ITV Hub, with ITVX – a new coupon is available that will slash the cost of the app’s Premium tier, for up to 10 months.
While ITVX is, first and foremost, a free streaming service (with adverts) – it also includes an optional, paid subscription tier.
ITVX Premium, which normally costs £5.99/month, removes most adverts from the streaming service, and also adds the entire BritBox library to the mix.
Later this year, ITVX Premium will also get another content library – that of Studio Canal Presents – a standalone streaming service that will be provided at no extra cost to Premium subscribers.
Back in December, ITVX already offered a similar discount code, which was meant to entice BritBox UK subscribers to switch to the new ITVX Premium.
While that code has expired since – a new, similar code, takes the price down to £3.99/month – for up to 10 months – and also lets you take advantage of the 7-day free trial first (see full instructions below).
What Is ITVX Premium?
The free, ad-supported version of ITVX includes catch-up content from ITV’s linear channels, as well as box-sets from ITV’s past and shows that are exclusive to ITVX.
The service launched with more than 10,000 hours of on-demand content, including 35 flagship shows, 200+ series and 250+ films, and has been growing since with monthly additions (here’s what’s coming to ITVX in April).
ITVX is available on most of the streaming devices in the UK (including, as of last month, Sky Q) – though it’s missing from a few older Freeview and Freesat boxes, as well as older Smart TVs.
Alongside the on-demand and catch-up content, you can also stream all of ITV’s live channels via the app, as well as several “themed” ad-supported live channels that are dedicated to a single series or theme – although ITVX’s live channels are NOT available on Freeview Play devices and some Smart TVs.
In addition to the free tier, ITVX has an optional Premium tier that removes most of the adverts and gives you access to the entire content library of BritBox, which includes more than 4,000 hours of classic British shows and films, including 600+ classic Doctor Who episodes.
In fact, as we previously reported, BritBox no longer offers standalone subscriptions to new subscribers, and instead sends people to ITVX’s Premium tier.
Starting Spring 2023, Studio Canal Plus, a streaming service that normally costs £4.99/month, will also be added to ITVX, where Premium subscribers will get it as part of their regular subscription, at no extra cost.
The new partnership will give ITVX Premium viewers access to a curated selection of films and series from Studio Canal’s extensive library, including family favourites like Paddington and Paddington 2, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, and The Railway Children starring Jenny Agutter.
ITVX Premium – Discount Code
ITVX Premium normally costs £5.99/month or £59.99/year.
But a new voucher code, which is undoubtedly only available for a limited time – slashes that cost to just £3.99/month.
The reduced price will remain in effect for up to 10 months (from the moment you subscribe) – but there’s no fixed term, so you can cancel anytime.
If you cancel before the 10 months are up, however, and then decide to subscribe – you will go back to the regular, £5.99/m price point (unless there’s another voucher at that time, of course).
If you haven’t taken advantage of ITVX’s free trial offer before, you can also use that – so you’ll get 7 free days of ITVX Premium, and then get billed £3.99/month (unless you cancel before the free trial is up).
To get the discount, sign up for ITVX, then start the subscription process for ITVX Premium – and use the voucher code ITVXSAVE10.
- Update: That code is no longer valid – but there’s a new ITVX discount code.
Unfortunately, we don’t know how long the code is going to last – so use it while you still can…

ITVX is only supported in the UK (There are ways to get it in the US with a VPN – but they’re very much unofficial)
ITVX code worked on the second attempt. Rejected first time. Will give it a try. Thank you.
They show trailers for their own shows DURING shows and movies on ITVX Premium. So what’s the point of it?
