All Virgin Media TV customers will be getting free access to 18 premium entertainment TV channels, starting this week, regardless of which subscription tier they’re on.
The free documentary, entertainment and music channels include Comedy Central, MTV, Sky History, channels from the popular Asian Mela pack and more (see the full list below).
With these channels, customers will get free access to shows like Impractical Jokers, Killer Britain with Dermot Murnaghan Season 4, Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman and many others.
The free channels are already available to Virgin Media TV subscribers (from February 1), until March 1, 2022.
This bonus to its customers is similar to what Virgin Media offered last year, when 22 premium channels were opened for free, along with several other content bonuses.
This year, the news comes several weeks after Virgin Media announced an imminent price increase, which will affect many of its customers on March 1.

How Do I Get The Free Channels On Virgin Media?
The free channels will be available to all existing and new Virgin Media TV customers, who are subscribed to any of the current TV plans.
Customers will automatically be able to access the pay-TV channels via their Virgin TV set-top box, without having to contact the company or having to sign up for anything new.

- TCM +1 (Ch417)
- Sky History HD (Ch270)
- Sky History +1 (Ch271)
- Sky History 2 (Ch272)
- Crime & Investigation HD (Ch209)
- Crime & Investigation +1 (Ch222)
The list also includes three channels from Virgin Media’s Asian TV package –
- Colors (Ch826)
- Colors Cineplex (Ch828)
- Colors Rishtey (Ch827)
Update: Virgin Media is also opening 7 kids channels for free.
