Station 19, the firefighting drama that started as a spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy, is back with Season 5. Now, UK fans are probably wondering how and where they can watch Station 19 online or streaming on their telly, legally, WITHOUT an expensive Sky/Cable subscription.

In case you haven’t joined in yet, Station 19 follows the personal and professional lives of firefighters in Seattle (who serve in the aptly named… Station 19). It stars Jaina Lee Ortiz, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss and Jason George, who transferred over from Grey’s Anatomy.

The show, which was created by Stacy McKee, is produced by Shondaland – the same production house behind Grey’s Anatomy. The two shows share characters and storylines from time to time, and often have crossover episodes that begin in one show and end on the other.

In the US, Season 5 of Station 19 returned on September 30, 2021. And while in the past we had to wait months for its UK debut – this year the new season is starting on November 3, 2021.

For now, here’s how to watch new episodes and past seasons. (And if you also need to catch up on Grey’s Anatomy – here’s how to watch that.).

Where Can I Watch Station 19 In The UK – Past And Upcoming Episodes?

In the UK, the newest episodes of Station 19 normally air on Sky, with weekly episodes.

But as Cord Cutters, we’re here to talk about your alternative, cheaper viewing options – those not involving a full-on Sky (or Virgin, BT, etc’) subscription – and there are several of those.

Is Station 19 Available on Netflix in the UK?

No. However, the show is available on Netflix in… Argentina and Brazil.

However, it also airs on Hulu (including the new Season 5), which is a US-Only service. But there are ways to watch American streaming services (including Hulu) in the UK.

1. Disney+ – Seasons 1-3

Disney’s streaming service launched “Star” this year, their adult-oriented category which is part of Disney+, and brought Station 19 (and Grey’s Anatomy) into it.

For now, the first three seasons are available on Disney+. Season 4 will arrive sometime in the near future.

For Disney+, you can get a monthly subscription, or an annual one which is a bit cheaper.

Pros

  • Get Station 19 and a ton of other shows and films
  • Full HD quality (1080p) at no extra cost
  • Stream all 3 seasons

Cons

  • Season 4 not available yet.

Watch On: Disney+ website, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Smartphones, Gaming consoles and Smart TVs

2. NOW – Season 5 (Coming Soon)

Sky’s on-demand service (formerly known as NOW TV), meant to compete with Netflix, offers a cheaper price over Sky’s regular TV offerings – and without a long contract (see my guide on getting cheap NOW TV passes).

The first seasons of Station 19 used to be available as box-sets on NOW’s Entertainment Pass – however, Sky removed all box-sets of ABC shows.

However, Season 5 will be coming on November 3, at 22:00, with new episodes airing weekly.

Pros

  • Cheap, monthly subscription.
  • Newest Season 5 episodes coming soon.
  • Available on several platforms

Cons

  • Picture Quality – only gets up 720p, unless you pay more for a “boost”.
  • Past seasons not available.

Watch On: Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, Gaming consoles, Certain models of Smart TVs.

3. Amazon Prime Video – Seasons 1-4

Amazon’s video-on-demand library (see our review) offers the first three seasons of Station 19 as part of Prime Video – so it’s free if you’re already a Prime member.

Season 4, however, is only available as a separate purchase for now, and not as part of the Prime subscription.

Pros

  • No extra cost if you’re an Amazon Prime member
  • Full HD quality (1080p)
  • Subtitles on all seasons
  • Available on a lot of platforms

Cons

  • Season 4 costs extra, for now

4. Google Play Store – Season 1-3

Google’s play store offers Season1-2 of Station 19, as a separate one-time purchase.

Pros

  • Full HD quality (1080p)
  • Subtitles on all seasons
  • Available on a lot of platforms

Cons

  • Gets expensive if you buy multiple seasons

Watch On: Roku, Chromecast, Smartphones, Gaming consoles
