With “The Skywalker” saga over and done (for now), after several decades and 9 feature films, you can finally go back and watch ALL of it at home – not just the films, but the TV shows as well. And with the help of video streaming services in the UK, it’s easier than ever.
So whether you’re looking to binge-watch the entire Star Wars movie saga, looking to catch-up on the animated Star Wars: Clone Wars, or yet to join-in with The Mandalorian – here’s how to watch EVERYTHING Star Wars related in the UK, without an expensive cable/Sky subscription, and with content spread around Disney+, NOW, Amazon Prime Video and others.
Of course, there’s the ongoing debate of what order you should watch Star Wars in. If you want to see it chronologically (in terms of the narrative – not when the films were produced), this timeline can help:
If, however, you’re watching with someone who never saw any of the Star Wars films – then you should ALWAYS start with The Original Trilogy (so Star Wars IV, Star Wars V and Star Wars VI), THEN continue with the prequels, and end with the modern trilogy. Otherwise – the prequels are going to spoil the original trilogy (in more ways than one).

After years of waiting, we finally got the final trilogy of films, starting with 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams, then Star Wars: The Last Jedi and finally Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
As with every other Star Wars property, fans were divided, and are arguing to this day how good or bad each of the new instalments is.
If you want to make up your own mind, or just have a fun rewatch, here’s how to stream the newer Star Wars trilogy in the UK:
- NOW TV: Sky’s streaming service doesn’t have the full modern trilogy, but it does offer Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

How To Watch Star Wars: Rogue One In The UK
The 2016 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film directed by Gareth Edwards, was the first instalment in what was supposed to be an ongoing anthology Star Wars series.
It takes place in the same Star Wars universe we know and love, but tells somewhat different story, alongside the main Skywalker saga.
You can stream it in the UK via:
- Amazon Prime Video: It’s not part of the Prime Video membership content, but you can buy and own it forever.
- Google Play: You can buy it on Google’s streaming content store, and then stream it on one of the many supported devices.
- iTunes: If you’re an Apple user, you can buy Rogue One on iTunes, and stream it on your iPhone or Apple TV.

How To Watch Solo: A Star Wars Story In The UK
The second movie in the “Star Wars Stories” anthology, it tells the story of a young Han Solo, before he became the hero we all know and love.
Directed by Ron Howard (after the original directors, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were fired), Solo was considered a failure, and the rest of the Stories anthology was put on ice, for now.
Still, this movie was praised by a lot of critics, as well as many of the fans, and it’s a fun watch.
Here’s how to stream Solo: A Star Wars Story in the UK:
- Amazon Prime Video: While Solo is not part of the Prime Video membership, you can still buy it digitally and own it forever.
- Google Play: You can buy Solo on Google’s streaming content store, and then stream it on one of the many supported devices.
- iTunes: If you’re an Apple user, you can buy Rogue One on iTunes, and stream it on your iPhone or Apple TV.
- Disney+: As mentioned, ALL the Star Wars films are available on Disney+ as part of the regular subscription.
