007 On The Move: All 25 Bond Films Coming To MGM+

Well, here we go again – 007 is packing his bags and moving house. This time, the suave spy is heading to MGM+ from June 1, 2025, with all 25 official Bond films becoming available to stream across 32 countries, including the UK.

From Sean Connery’s iconic debut in Dr. No to Daniel Craig’s emotional farewell in No Time to Die, the entire collection will be available for what MGM+ is rather vaguely calling “a limited time period.”

Here’s what you’ll be able to watch – and how.

Bond’s Never-Ending Streaming Journey

If you’ve been trying to keep up with where to watch 007 legally online, you’ll know it’s been a proper headache.

Last year, the Bond films landed on ITVX after departing Amazon’s Prime Video.

The ITVX arrangement was a bit odd – they aired one film at a time on ITV4, with each becoming available for just 30 days on ITVX afterwards. Not ideal if you fancied a Bond marathon!

The silver lining with ITVX was that at least the films were completely free to watch – if you could tolerate the adverts interrupting those tense poker scenes and car chases.

Before that, when the collection lived on Prime Video, subscribers could enjoy all the Bond adventures as part of their standard subscription without paying extra.

What’s This Going to Cost Me?

Here’s where things get a bit annoying. Despite Amazon owning MGM, you’ll need to fork out extra cash to watch 007’s exploits.

MGM+ is only available in the UK as an add-on subscription via Prime Video, costing £5.99 per month on top of your Prime subscription.

MGM Plus Prime Video

So even if you’re already paying Amazon for Prime Video, you’ll need to cough up another six quid monthly if you want your Bond fix (but there’s a 7-day free trial. Can you watch 25 Bond films in 7 days?)

It feels like a step backwards for fans who’ve either watched for free on ITVX or had it included in their Prime subscription previously, but that’s the streaming world we live in.

What’s MGM+?

MGM+ launched in the UK back in May 2024, essentially a rebrand of Amazon’s previous Prime Video MGM channel.

When Lionsgate+ (formerly StarzPlay) shut down in the UK, MGM+ swooped in to rescue several popular shows including Outlander, Power Book series, and Black Sails.

It’s been quietly building up its library since then with content from the MGM archives and some original programming.

Beyond Bond, you’ll find classic franchises like Rocky, Legally Blonde, and Stargate. They’re also promoting upcoming originals like the Outlander prequel series Blood of My Blood and Stephen King’s The Institute.

The Complete Bond Collection – Every Film Included (Almost)

The collection, coming on June 1, includes all 25 official 007 adventures:

  • Dr. No
  • From Russia With Love
  • Goldfinger
  • Thunderball
  • You Only Live Twice
  • On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
  • Diamonds Are Forever
  • Live And Let Die
  • The Man With The Golden Gun
  • The Spy Who Loved Me
  • Moonraker
  • For Your Eyes Only
  • Octopussy
  • A View To A Kill
  • The Living Daylights
  • Licence To Kill
  • GoldenEye
  • Tomorrow Never Dies
  • The World Is Not Enough
  • Die Another Day
  • Casino Royale
  • Quantum Of Solace
  • Skyfall
  • Spectre
  • No Time To Die

The collection represents all 25 James Bond films produced by Eon Productions, but Bond aficionados will note a couple of glaring omissions.

The 1967 spoof version of Casino Royale starring David Niven (along with several other actors playing “James Bond”) and 1983’s Never Say Never Again featuring Sean Connery’s return to the role outside the official franchise aren’t included in the MGM+ lineup.

These unofficial entries exist due to complicated rights issues – the latter being a remake of Thunderball made possible by a legal loophole.

While interesting cinematic curiosities, they’re not considered canon by most Bond fans, and haven’t been included in any of the recent streaming deals for the franchise.

Highlights From The Collection

Dr. No (1962)
Where it all began. Sean Connery’s explosive debut as Bond takes him to Jamaica to investigate mysterious energy waves interfering with US missile launches.

It gave us the first “Bond, James Bond” introduction, the first Bond girl in Ursula Andress’s iconic beach scene, and set the template for what would become cinema’s longest-running franchise.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
Often overlooked but increasingly appreciated by fans, George Lazenby’s sole outing as 007 features one of the most emotional storylines in the series as Bond falls in love with and actually marries Tracy Di Vicenzo (Diana Rigg).

The film ends with one of the most devastating sequences in Bond history – proof that 007 films weren’t always just about gadgets and one-liners.

GoldenEye (1995)
After a six-year hiatus, Pierce Brosnan revitalised the franchise for the post-Cold War era.

This cracking adventure features a scene-stealing performance from Sean Bean as the villainous 006, plus the unforgettable tank chase through St Petersburg.

It also introduced Judi Dench as M, delivering the immortal line about Bond being a “sexist, misogynist dinosaur.”

Casino Royale (2006)
Daniel Craig’s debut completely reinvented Bond for the 21st century, returning to Ian Fleming’s first novel for inspiration.

Grittier, more realistic, and emotionally raw, this film showed us how Bond became Bond. The brutal bathroom fight scene, the heart-stopping poisoning sequence, and the devastating romance with Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) made this an instant classic.

No Time To Die (2021)
Craig’s emotional farewell to the role he defined for 15 years was worth the wait. Building on storylines from the previous four films, it delivered a surprisingly moving conclusion to his tenure.

The film’s controversial ending divided fans but proved that even after 60 years, the Bond franchise could still surprise us.

Is It Worth Subscribing?

The value proposition here really depends on how big a Bond fan you are.

If you’re the type who watches the films regularly or fancies a complete marathon, the £5.99 monthly fee might be justified – especially if you also fancy watching other MGM+ content.

For casual viewers who might only want to watch the odd Bond film now and then, you might be better off waiting to see if the collection inevitably moves to yet another streaming service in the future, or simply renting individual films when the mood strikes.

  1. As a customer who dips monthly mgm+ is completely off the radar. Paying for one sub to gain access to another is completely outrageous and should be looked at and banned by the relevant body.
