After years of trailing behind the US with episodes of Kevin Costner’s hit series Yellowstone, there’s finally some good news for UK fans of the show – it’s coming to our side of the pond sooner than expected.
And the news comes alongside the release of a fresh new trailer for Season 5 (see below), that reveals some surprising new facts about the upcoming season.
In the US, Yellowstone streams on Peacock. But in the UK, the series used to air on the Paramount Network (which is now known as 5Action), and then moved to Paramount+, when the streaming service launched in the UK earlier this year.
Seasons 1-3 were available on Paramount+ UK at launch, but Season 4 only launched on the service a couple of months ago, with weekly episode drops – even though it ended in the US way back in January.
Therefore, UK fans were worried that they’ll have to wait again for the upcoming new season.
However, we can now confirm that Season 5 of Yellowstone will debut in the UK on November 14, on Paramount+, with two all-new episodes – just one day after their US debut.
The series will then continue with new episodes arriving to Paramount+ UK every week.
Yellowstone Season 5 – What To Expect
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, played by world-renowned actor and Oscar-winner Kevin Costner.
Dutton controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
From Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan, Season 5 features a critically-acclaimed ensemble cast including Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille and more, with Kai Caster, Lainey Wilson, Lilli Kay and Dawn Olivieri joining the star-studded cast.
Ahead of Season 5, Paramount+ revealed a new trailer today – it gives eager fans a sneak peek at what’s ahead this season for the Duttons, opening with John Dutton being sworn in as Governor of Montana, and shows the chaos, enemies and “war” that immediately follow.
How To Watch Paramount+ And Yellowstone In The UK
Paramount+ is a streaming service that offers content from CBS, Showtime and Paramount Pictures, as well as exclusive, original programmes like Halo and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Paramount+ is also the UK home of Yellowstone, with all four seasons available to watch (the last episode of Season 4 will go up at the beginning of October).
Paramount+ costs £6.99/month or £69.90/year in the UK, with a free 7-day trial available to everyone (although there are coupons that can give you a 30-days free trial).
The standalone Paramount+ app is available on most (but not all) major streaming devices and Smart TVs sold in the UK, and you can sign up either directly via the Paramount+ app/website, or via Amazon Prime Video Channels.
Prime Video Channels require an Amazon Prime subscription, and you then subscribe to Paramount+ on top of that. You will then be able to watch Paramount+ on any device that supports the Prime Video app, not just those with the Paramount+ app.
