Disney+ UK Unveils Thrilling June 2024 TV Line-up

As summer approaches, Disney+ in the UK is gearing up to captivate audiences with an array of new TV shows set to premiere in June 2024.

From the glamorous world of fashion in Becoming Karl Lagerfeld to the thrilling sci-fi battles of Star Wars: The Acolyte, along with the highly anticipated new seasons of The Bear and Criminal Minds: Evolution, the streaming platform promises to deliver a month filled with engaging stories and memorable characters.

Disney+ offers content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, along with the more adult-oriented Star category.

Late last year, the streaming service changed its pricing structure, while adding a lower-cost ad-supported tier.

So, as of this writing, Disney+ in the UK offers the following tiers and price points:

Standard With Ads: At £4.99 per month, this is the most budget-friendly option, offering Full HD 1080p video quality with advertisements.

Standard: Priced at £7.99 per month or £79.90 annually, this plan offers ad-free viewing with Full HD 1080p video quality and download capabilities.

Premium: The highest tier (which is identical to what used to be the single Disney+ tier in the UK), now at £10.99/month or £109.90 annually, provides up to 4K UHD & HDR video quality, four concurrent streams, and download capability, all without adverts.

The Bear Season 3

This critically acclaimed comedy series (some would disagree with the ‘comedy’ categorisation) continues to follow the trials and tribulations of Carmy and his dedicated crew as they navigate the challenges of running a restaurant in Chicago.

Star Wars: The Acolyte

Star Wars fans have reason to rejoice as The Acolyte debuts on Disney+ UK this June.

Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 17

Crime drama enthusiasts can look forward to the seventeenth season of Criminal Minds: Evolution (or the second season of the series ‘reboot’) which picks up after the shocking finale of the previous season.

Pride Month Special

In celebration of Pride Month, Disney+ UK is expanding its LGBTQ+ collection with the addition of two notable titles.

Season 3 of the acclaimed series Killing Eve joins the platform, bringing its trademark blend of suspense and complex character dynamics.

Additionally, National Geographic’s Pride From Above offers a unique perspective on the LGBTQ+ community.
