Yes, it’s that time of the year again – Black Friday (along with Cyber Monday, if we’re still calling it that) – and if you’re looking for a streaming device or a Freesat box, a new streaming service, or even an old-style EE TV subscription – everything is now discounted.
This year, even more so than past years, it seems Black Friday is now Black November, with many discounts starting very early – but it seems everything culminated on Black Friday itself, so today we can look at ALL the deals.
Most of these usually last for a few more days, so it’s worth checking the prices even you find this article a bit later in the week.
And as always, please remember that you should only buy stuff you were planning to buy anyway – a discount is not a reason to buy something you don’t need or can’t afford.
Streaming Devices – Black Friday Discounts
Almost All Fire TV Devices Now On Sale
I’m still a big fan of Amazon’s Fire TV devices (yes, even though their interface is somewhat cluttered), and this year, all but one of the Firesticks are discounted – including the brand new Fire TV Stick 4K Select.
The controversial Fire TV Stick 4K Select – Amazon’s first device to run the new Vega OS – has dropped to £19.99 from £49.99.
That’s a 60% discount on a device that only launched last month. For that price, you get a perfectly capable 4K streaming stick that works brilliantly with all the major UK services.
The catch? It runs on a completely new operating system with around 900 apps instead of 30,000, no VPN support yet, and questions about long-term app availability (see my full review of the Fire TV 4K Select).
If you want something more future-proof, the standard Fire TV Stick 4K is down to £24.99 (normally £59.99) and includes Dolby Vision, WiFi 6, 2GB RAM, and access to the full app library.
The premium Fire TV Stick 4K Max is £39.99 (was £69.99), while the Fire TV Cube has been reduced to £109.99 from £139.99. The Alexa Voice Remote Pro has also dropped to £19.99 (usually £34.99), bringing backlit buttons and remote finding to any Fire TV device.
Amazon’s also offering an additional trade-in discount – hand over any old Fire TV device and get 20% off your new purchase, plus a £3-£6 gift card. That brings the Select down to £15.99 if you’ve got an ancient stick gathering dust somewhere.
For most people, the standard Fire TV Stick 4K at £24.99 remains the sensible choice – it’s only £5 more than the Select and significantly more capable.
But if you’re after a cheap second stick for a guest bedroom, or you can trade in an old device, the Select at £19.99 (or £15.99 with trade-in) is hard to argue with.
If you’re not sure which Fire TV stick to get – see my detailed comparison of all of them.
Roku Black Friday Deals
Roku is the leading manufacturer of streaming devices in the US – and for a good reason, with excellent devices and a very simple and easy-to-use interface.
For Black Friday, Roku is offering discounts on all three of their UK streaming sticks.
The Roku Streaming Stick HD (see my review) is down to £19.99 from £29.99, though with just a fiver separating it from the 4K-capable Plus model at Black Friday pricing, it’s a tough sell unless you’re specifically after a secondary device for an HD TV.
The real star is the Roku Streaming Stick Plus (see my review) – down to £24.99 from £39.99. That’s cheaper than Amazon’s basic HD Fire TV Stick normally costs, and you’re getting 4K support, HDR, and Roku’s clean, no-nonsense interface.
It’s exceptional value and my main recommendation for anyone looking at Roku devices.
The premium Roku Streaming Stick 4K (see my review) is £39.99, down from £49.99. It adds Dolby Vision and enhanced WiFi over the Plus model, but unless you’re particularly bothered about Dolby Vision or have tricky WiFi conditions, the Plus offers better value.
Roku’s main appeal remains its simplicity – your apps sit right there on the home screen, without Amazon’s cluttered promotional content getting in the way.
For anyone who values a straightforward streaming experience over bleeding-edge specs, these Black Friday prices make Roku even more compelling.
Freesat Black Friday 2025 Offer
Freesat has slashed prices across its entire range of 4K boxes, with discounts of up to £50 available until at least December.
The non-recordable Freesat 4K TV Box is now £109.99 (was £129.99), while the 500GB recordable model is £179.99 (was £229.99) and the 1TB version is £209.99 (was £259.99).
For the first time, the premium 2TB model is also included in the discount at £249.99, down from £299.99.
The recordable models can capture up to four programmes simultaneously while letting you watch a fifth live channel, with storage ranging from 250 hours (500GB) up to 1,000 hours (2TB).
All boxes include popular streaming apps like BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Netflix and Prime Video.
If Freeview reception is poor in your area and you don’t want to pay for a pay-TV subscription, Freesat remains a solid option (alongside the new Pleio Freely box) – particularly at these prices.
- Freesat 4K TV Box (Non-Recordable) on Currys
- Freesat 4K Recording Box 500GB on Currys
- Freesat 4K Recording Box 500GB on Amazon
- Freesat 4K Recording Box 1TB on Currys
- Freesat 4K Recording Box 2TB on Currys
EE TV’s Black Friday Deals 2025
EE TV (formerly known as BT TV), which is now the TV service for both BT Broadband and EE Broadband customers, is offering several Black Friday discounts until December 11.
The standout deal is the Entertainment TV bundle, which includes several popular streaming services and channels as well as a 4K Freeview recording box or a custom Apple TV 4K box, for just £13/month for the entire duration of the contract (24 months) – so it’s a total discount of £168 over the full contract period.
The bundle includes NOW Entertainment (with Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and other Sky channels), Netflix Standard with Ads, Discovery+ Entertainment, and your choice of the EE TV 4K Pro Box or Apple TV 4K.
After March’s annual price increase, you’ll pay £15/month, then £17/month from March 2027 – but you’re still saving throughout the entire contract compared to the regular £20/month price.
Alternatively, there are Black Friday discounts on the Sports bundle – the Sport bundle (with all 4 TNT Sports channels and Discovery+ TNT Sports+Entertainment) is just £2/month for the first six months before jumping to £25/month for the remainder of the contract.
The Full Works bundle, which includes absolutely everything – NOW Entertainment, NOW Cinema, NOW Sky Sports, Netflix Standard, TNT Sports and Discovery+ – is half price at £40/month for the first three months, then £80/month for the rest of the contract.
The upfront setup fee has also been waived on all of the Black Friday bundles.
As always, there are a few caveats – remember that the prices will go up in March 2026 (an extra £2/month for TV bundles and £4/month for broadband), and again in March 2027.
Also, EE’s TV offers are only available as an add-on for BT and EE Broadband customers – so you can’t get any of them as a standalone offer. But if you’re not with BT yet, there are discounts to be had on broadband as well, with packages starting from £25.99/month for 24 months.
Apple TV+ Half Price Deal
Apple’s streaming service (which recently dropped the “+” from its name and is now, confusingly, just called Apple TV) is offering one of its best-ever Black Friday deals – six months for £4.99 per month, then reverting to the standard £9.99/month.
On a per-month basis, this works out even cheaper than taking the full year subscription, making it an excellent opportunity to explore Apple’s premium original content library.
Unlike Netflix or Disney+, Apple TV takes a completely different approach – focusing entirely on high-quality original programming rather than building a massive back catalogue.
You won’t find classic sitcoms or older blockbusters, but you will find award-winning shows like Ted Lasso, Severance, Foundation, and Slow Horses.
The £4.99/month deal is available both directly via Apple and through the Apple TV Prime Video Channel.
The Prime Video Channel version requires an Amazon Prime subscription first, and lets you watch all the same Apple TV content through the Prime Video app instead of Apple’s own app, which can be convenient in having all your streaming done via one app (and one bill).
Important caveat: these two subscription methods are completely separate and not interchangeable. Your login details won’t work across platforms – you’re essentially choosing between two different ways to access the same content.
At £4.99/month for six months, you’re getting 4K, ad-free premium content for half the price of the regular subscription – and even cheaper than Disney+’s ad-supported tier.
Whether Apple TV’s quality-over-quantity approach suits you depends on your viewing habits, but this deal makes it much easier to find out.
Paramount+ Half Price Deal
Paramount+ is offering 50% discounts on both its Standard and Premium tiers until December 1.
The Standard tier (HD quality, up to 2 devices, ad-free) is available for £3.99/month for the first 3 months on a monthly plan, or £35.49 for the first year on an annual plan.
After that, the regular price applies – £7.99/month or £70.99/year.
The Premium tier (which includes 4K UHD streaming, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and streaming on up to 4 devices) is discounted to £5.49/month for the first 3 months on a monthly plan, or £48.99 for the first year on an annual plan.
After that, you’ll pay the standard £10.99/month or £97.99/year.
Both tiers are ad-free and include the full Paramount+ library with shows like Yellowstone, Landman, Star Trek and more. The deals are available for new and former subscribers only – existing active subscribers can’t take advantage of the promotional pricing.
Unlike last year, this time the offer is only available directly via Paramount+, and there are no discounts on the Amazon Prime Video version of Paramount+.
NordVPN Black Friday Deal
VPN giant NordVPN, our Editor’s Choice service, is offering up to 74% off its 2-year plans, plus 3 extra months free.
We’ve been recommending NordVPN for several years, and for good reason, especially if you need a VPN for unblocking American streaming services, such as the US version of Netflix, Tubi and many others.
In simple terms, a VPN lets you create a secure connection between your device and another computer somewhere else in the world. Then, you automatically use that computer to browse the internet – so now it’s as if you’re sitting next to that other computer, wherever it may be.
This is useful for protecting your privacy when browsing the web, keeping your connection secure when you’re on public WiFi, and – for streaming fans – bypassing geo-restrictions enforced by some sites and streaming services.
NordVPN has more than 8,400 servers around the world, with no bandwidth or data limits (which is important for streaming), and their servers are consistently fast with very rare buffering issues.
Importantly, NordVPN also has apps for Amazon Fire TV devices, Google / Android TV, mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers – which makes it even easier to use for streaming purposes and unblocking geo-restrictions.
The Black Friday deals include three tiers:
- Basic: £2.29/month (save 73%) – £61.83 for the first 27 months – includes secure, fast VPN
- Plus: £2.89/month (save 74%) – £78.03 for the first 27 months – adds anti-malware & browsing protection, ad & tracker blocker, and password manager & breach scanner
- Ultimate: £4.79/month (save 74%) – £129.33 for the first 27 months – adds 1TB cloud storage and cyber insurance with up to £5,000 coverage for scams and ID theft recovery
All plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can try the service risk-free.
Premium Prime Video Channels Black Friday Deals
Amazon is offering steep discounts on premium Prime Video Channels, with deals ranging from 50% to 80% off before they revert to their regular prices.
Prime Video Channels are an add-on to an Amazon Prime Video subscription. They launched in the UK back in 2017, and the list of available channels has been growing since, now including some well-known properties.
You must have an Amazon Prime subscription first (or Prime Video), which you can get with a 30-days free trial – and then you can add the channels on top of that.
Once you subscribe, you can watch the channels on your desktop, your smartphone, or on your TV, via the Amazon Prime Video app, which is available on almost all Smart TVs and almost all streaming devices.
The standout deal is MGM+ at just £0.99/month for 3 months – a channel featuring classic films and original series. Other highlights include:
- Crunchyroll: 50% off for 2 months – the leading anime streaming service
- Crime+Investigation: 50% off for 3 months – true crime documentaries and series
- Shudder: 50% off for 3 months – horror and thriller content
- Acorn TV: 50% off for 3 months – British and international television
- Lionsgate+: 50% off for 3 months – which mysteriously came back from the dead after shutting down last year
- HISTORY Play: 50% off for 3 months – historical documentaries and series
- NFL GAME PASS: 80% off for 1 month – American football coverage
There are more discounted channels available as well.
Sky’s NOW Black Friday Offers
Sky’s NOW streaming service (formerly NOW TV) hasn’t officially branded these as “Black Friday deals”, but they’re offering some discounts this month – including a rare Entertainment + Sports bundle that doesn’t normally appear.
The Entertainment Membership is available for £4.99/month (normally £9.99/m) with a 12-month minimum term. This gives you access to Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and other Sky channels, plus content for kids.
The Entertainment + Cinema bundle costs £8.99/month (normally £19.98/m combined) with a 12-month minimum term – essentially getting both memberships for less than the regular price of one.
The Cinema Membership alone is £6.99/month (normally £9.99/m) for 12 months, giving you new blockbusters and Sky Cinema’s back catalogue.
For sports fans, NOW Sky Sports is available for £28/month (normally £34.99/m) with a 6-month minimum term, covering all 11 Sky Sports channels including the new Sky Sports+ platform.
The standout offer is the rarely-seen Entertainment + Sports bundle at £32.99/month with a 12-month minimum term – a combination that doesn’t normally appear as a pre-packaged deal.
Remember that these prices don’t include Boost (for Full HD and ad-free on-demand content at £6/month) or Ultra Boost (for 4K, Dolby Atmos and 3 simultaneous streams at £9/month) – those are separate add-ons if you want enhanced quality.
And also remember that these MINIMUM term deals mean you’re signing a long-term contract, so can’t cancel before the 6 or 12 months end.
Premier Sports Black Friday Offer
Sports broadcaster Premier Sports is offering a special Black Friday deal for football and rugby fans – an entire year of coverage for just £80, a 33% discount on the standard £120 annual price.
The offer is available until Sunday, November 30 at 23:59, using the promocode BLACKFRIDAY25.
Premier Sports provides coverage of top-class Scottish football including the Scottish Premiership, the Premier Sports Cup (with the final between St Mirren and Celtic coming up), and the Scottish Cup from January through to the final at Hampden in May.
Rugby fans get exclusive coverage of the Investec Champions Cup as well as every match live from the BKT United Rugby Championship.
Important caveats: The Black Friday offer is only available to new and returning customers, and only on the Sky and Premier Sports Player platforms. If you subscribe via Virgin Media, Amazon’s Prime Video Channels, or STV Player, this discount doesn’t apply.
Your subscription will renew automatically at the standard retail rate unless you cancel.
Audible – £0.99/m For 3 Months
Streaming TV isn’t the only entertainment out there – you can also stream audiobooks, thanks to Audible, which has one of the largest audiobook collections in the world.
Their monthly subscription gives you book credits each month. The normal subscription costs £7.99/month, and you get one credit a month (each credit is worth one audiobook, in most cases).
With the subscription, you now also get unlimited listening to Audible Plus – which is a library of thousands of audiobooks, podcasts and Audible originals.
For Black Friday this year, you can get your first three months for just £0.99/month – that’s over 80% off – AND you get a £10 Audible Credit which you can use to buy more audiobooks. The voucher notification will be received via email.
After the three months are up, the subscription will renew at the regular rate – unless you cancel.
