Tips and Tricks for Streaming Video Trials

  • The free trials for most of the streaming services in the UK renew automatically at the end of the trial, unless you cancel. So remember to cancel before that happens, IF you don’t want to continue with the service.
  • Some streaming services offer additional discounts (or even a longer trial) when you try to cancel, and it’s usually beneficial to use these offers.
  • The great thing about streaming services (as opposed to traditional pay-TV contracts like Sky and Virgin Media), is that you can cancel at any time, and then resubscribe when you want to. So if you go on holiday, or just don’t have enough time to watch something – just cancel, and rejoin in the future.
